Joseph M. Bodner, 85, passed away Friday, March 11, 2016.  He was born March 30, 1930 in East Pittsburgh, son of the late John Bodner and Adela Gesner Bodner.  In addition to his parents, Joe was preceded in death by two brothers; Thomas and John Bodner.  Joe served his country in the Army in the Korean War.  Prior to retirement, Joe worked for Westinghouse Air Brake as a grinder and inspector for over 32 years. Joe was a member of Mother of Sorrows Church, Murrysville.  Joe was an avid sports fan.  He was a known caller on local sports radio commentary referred to as " Joe from Murrysville", who gave his opinion on a wide variety of  sporting events in the past and present.  He is survived by his beloved wife, Glenna Lee Bodner, two sons; Michael (Marcia) Bodner of Murrysville and Stephen (Debra) Bodner of Mt. Troy; one grandson, Ian Bodner and one grand-daughter, Stephanie Bodner, three sisters; Theresa Surgeon of Hiram, Ohio, Elizabeth Cumiskey and Catherine Bodner, both of Kennebunk, ME.  Visitation Saturday, March 19, 2016 from 9-9:45a.m. at Mother of Sorrows Church, Murrysville followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:00a.m.
