Dorothy Louise (Mizerak) Moreau, of Murrysville, PA, passed away peacefully at Presbyterian Hospital on February 2, 2018 surrounded by her family.  Dorothy was born in Coy, PA on December 2, 1933 to Stephan and Stephanie Mizerak.  She is survived by her husband of more than 60 years, Robert Moreau; daughters, Michelle Moreau of Murrysville and Maria Daniels (Glenn) of Plum Borough and a son Michael Moreau (Joan) of Penn Township; two grandchildren, Anthony and Nicholas Daniels and a sister, Rita Kull (Ron).  Dorothy will also be lovingly remembered by many nieces, nephews, extended family members and family friends.  She was preceded in death by her daughter Joanna, her mother and father, sister Bernardine Brisky and brother Stephan Mizerak.  Our loving, caring, compassionate, giving and patient matriarch whose great faith in God and living grace has and will be always be remembered.  Words simply cannot describe the warmth she brought to our family home.  Dorothy loved sharing great traditional holidays and meals at her home In Murrysville.  Many years hosting as many as 30 family members for Thanksgiving, Christmas and summer picnics.  Dorothy shared her great love for card games, board games and games of all kinds as well as crosswords and puzzles, TV game shows and enjoyed weekly family game night with her daughters and grandchildren.  She was also an avid reader of all genres of literature.  She was a graduate of Seton Hill College - Summa Cum Laude and a former English teacher at Greensburg Central Catholic High School and later worked at the family graphic design and promotion businesses doing the bookkeeping and assisting with production.  Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 6, 2018 from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. at Hart Funeral Home Inc., 3103 Lillian Ave., Murrysville, PA.  Additional visitation will be held at St. Bernard of Clairvaux Catholic Church 2000 Clairvaux Drive, Indiana, Pa. 15701 on Wednesday, February 7, 2018 from 10 –10:45 a.m. with a funeral mass to follow at 11 a.m.  Everyone please meet at the church.  Interment will be in Bernard Cemetery.  Memorial contributions may be made in Dorothy’s name to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, PO Box 1000 Dept 142, Memphis, TN 38101-9908.
