My deepest sympathy to all the family!...my husband and I thought the world of Alan....he was a gentle soul with patience and understanding. The care of those with heart disease,so frightened and often in denial, is such a challenge and he met it with all he had. May he rest in God's eternal peace....Kathy

Stunned by the sudden loss of Alan. We are the same age and worked together 30 years ago on many cardiac cases at Monsour Medical Center. A very caring and dedicated physician. God speed Alan. We will miss you and sincere condolences to your family.

Our deepest sympathy to the whole family. Yes, he was our doctor, but over the past 20 years became our friend. We compared stories of our grandchildren, oh how he adored them, the idea of him retiring and traveling with his beautiful wife. God bless him for taking care of so many, but his pride and love was for his wife, children and grandchildren. We will miss him and our thoughts and prayers are with each one of you. One intelligent man with a mighty big heart. I hope he is fishing with family and friends in heaven. God be with you. Fred and Cindy DeMetro

Alan struck me as compassionate and open minded, in addition to being a competent professional. I am grateful for the care he rendered to our shared patients, and for his advice over the years.
Billie and I offer our condolences for your loss, as we pray for the family.

So sorry for your loss. Dr. Olivenstein was my doctor for many years, and before that he took care of my mother, I have great respect for him as he always answered your questions and took time to talk to you. I will miss him. May GOD bless your family.
