Ronald Dean Anderson, “Dean the Barber” of Murrysville passed away on Monday, August 27, 2018.  He was born January 2, 1933 in Irwin, PA.  Dean was a well-known member of the Murrysville community and owner of Dean’s Barber Shop for over 50 years.  Survived by Dee McCune, his wife of 30 years; his daughter, Brenda (Anderson) Faulman, her husband, Michael and grandchildren, Jeffrey Gross and Jessica Gross; his son, Barry Anderson and grandchildren Ryan Anderson and Shanna (Anderson) Singer.  Dean is also survived by Dee’s children, Gail McCune, Dale and Lisa McCune, David and Cindy McCune, Denise Arnold and Shane, eight grandchildren, three great grandchildren and two sisters, Phyllis Frye and Dahl Bortot and many nieces and nephews.  Dean was an avid sportsman, one of the original members of the Sportsman and Landowners of Murrysville which was responsible for the maintenance of the live tree sign and the annual fishing derby.  He served in the U.S. Army in Signal Corps from 1953-55.  He was a past master of the Forbes Trail Masonic Lodge F&AM 735 and a member of the Italian Club and Polish Club.  Visitation from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. on Friday, August 31, at the Hart Funeral Home Inc., Murrysville, PA where a Masonic Service will be held at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.  A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday in the funeral home with Pastor Dan Lawrence officiating.  Entombment will follow at Restland Memorial Park, Monroeville with Military Honors accorded by the United States Army.
