Allan J. Sarver, 87, of Murrysville, passed away Monday, December 28, 2020 at his home surrounded by family. He was born June 5, 1933 in Braddock, PA, son of the late William H. and Irene Sarver. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his beloved wife Lois M. Sarver; and a brother Bill Sarver. He was a member of Mother of Sorrows Church, Murrysville. Allan had an impressive career with US Steel Corp, working at Homestead Works. He became assistant to the superintendent of Irvin Works before earning the prestigious position of Superintendent of Duquesne Works. Allan was then CEO and founder of Industrial Machine Works and Penn Chrome in Pittsburgh. He was a proud veteran of the U.S. Air Force having served during the Korean War. Allan is survived by three daughters, Kimberly (William Jr.) DiNatale, Cynthia (Christopher) Papalia, and Beth Ann (Paul Kiratzis) Sarver; four grandchildren, William III (Elizabeth) DiNatale, Nickolas (Katie) DiNatale, Rebecca (Theodore) Tumulty, Christopher II (Jessica) Papalia; and four great-grandchildren, Olivia, Maci, Deanna, and Tessa Rose; three brothers, David Sarver, John “Jack” Sarver, and Carl Sarver; several nieces and nephews. Visitation is Wednesday from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Hart Funeral Home Inc., Murrysville. Additional visitation is Thursday from 9:30 a.m. to 10:15 a.m. followed by a funeral mass at 10:30 a.m. at Mother of Sorrows Church, Murrysville. Interment will follow at Monongahela Cemetery with military honors. Please meet directly at church. Per CDC guidelines, masks and social distancing will be enforced.
