I was deeply saddened to learn of George's passing. I will always remember the good times I had with him and Betty....he was one of the nicer people I've known in my life.
My wife Eva joins me with condolences.

It is with a heavy heart we hear of the passing of George Glarner . He was a great supporter of IUP Football and will be dearly missed by all . George was very generous with numerous money donations to our football program and NEVER asked for anything in return . He was a class act who always wanted the best for IUP Football and the university . Rest In Peace our friend and keep watching over IUP Football . Paul Tortorella / HFC

Mrs. G, we are sorry to hear of the Coach's passing.  You have our deepest sympathy.  He will forever have a place in our hearts.  Swissvale H.S. was a much better place because of him.  We are sure that many of his former students and players will, like us say, that the Coach was one of the most influential people in their lives.  RIP Big Guy, gone but not forgotten!
