Gene was such a friendly, helpful man. He would often come to the facility I worked at and help me find the most suitable wheelchair for my patients. When I felt stuck, I called Gene and he was always there to help. He will be greatly missed and the whole therapy department is heartbroken. We will be praying for your family during this time.

Gene was always a sweet gentle guy.  He was friendly with everyone and always respected for the way he carried himself and treated those around.   He was an all around good person.  My husband played football and wrestled with him in high school. He was a talented guy and he could run. All good memories of a life well lived.  Our deepest sympathy and condolences to you all.  We will keep you in our thoughts and prayers.
Blessings to you.

Dear Debbie and family you have my condolences and deepest sympathy on the passing of Gene.  It was my pleasure to have worked with Gene in many of the nursing homes.  Gene was the ultimate professional in his business career and was well respected by his colleagues and by his customers.  Gene was always upbeat and a joy to be around.  I am so proud that Gene and I had the opportunity to work together and that we were friends.  Unfortunately I will be unable to attend the service but my thoughts and prayers will be with you and your family.

Our deepest sympathies to the Nance family.  I have known Mean Gene as he was (with affection and humor) known through our 24 years that we have been friends and when necessary we did some work. Professional, kind, funny, helpful and always available even on a family vacation he would take my call. Leave this world better than when you came in it, you did that my friend we are better having known Gene Nance and this world is a better place because you were here.  Rest in peace my friend!
