We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of our beloved Abbey Rose Olsakovsky. Abbey passed away peacefully on Thursday, August 1, 2024, at the age of 29, surrounded by her loving family. Abbey is survived by her parents, Larry and Carolyn Olsakovsky and her younger sisters, Sela Olsakovsky Graham (Kyle Graham) and Jolee Olsakovsky; her grandmother, Maryann Evancho; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. She was preceded in death by her grandfathers, Donald J. Evancho, Paul A. Olsakovsky, and her grandmother, Helen I. Olsakovsky.
Abbey was loved by so many and will be greatly missed by all who knew her. She was known for her kind heart, generosity, and unwavering love for her family and friends. To know Abbey was to love her. She had a contagious laugh; the best laugh. She had such adoration for her 3 dogs, Lucy, Chloe, and Capri and enjoyed dressing them up for any occasion.
Abbey graduated from St. Johns River State College and was employed at Iron Rock Tap Room in Greensburg, PA as a restaurant manager and event coordinator where she thrived in a fast-paced work environment. Although Abbey followed her family to live in Florida & South Carolina for a few years, her heart always brought her back to Pittsburgh, PA. There was never a dull moment with Abbey. She brought joy and laughter to everyone. Her sense of humor and quick wit was unmatched. She will be remembered for her effervescent spirit and uplifting personality. Abbey had the most beautiful spirit and she lit up any room she entered. She will be forever remembered and deeply missed by everyone who had the privilege of knowing her. Abbey may have left this world, but her memory will live on in the hearts of all those she touched. May she rest in peace, until we meet again.
