Adele Ranee (Yurick) Stile, OTR, of Murrysville went to God on Sunday, September 11, 2022, surrounded by her family, whom she loved fiercely. With her devoted husband of 52 years, Sabato “Tony” (M.D.), always at her side, she built a loving family that included her children, Ranee, Christina, and Joe, and their spouses (respectively): John, Arch, and Stacey; her grandchildren: Sophia, Beatrix, and Griffin, and bonus grandkids, Blake and JF; brother/sister-in-law: Roy and Fran; sister/brother-in-law: Ellen and Greg; sister-in-law Emily; nieces: Kathleen (& Byron), Sue, and Lisa (& Charlie); nephews: David (& Heather) and Gregory (& Mary); a great-niece and two great-nephews; and scores of friends and family. She was preceded in death by parents Stephen and Helen, brother Warren, niece Laura, and many others in the Yurick and Stile families.
Adele was born and raised in Lakewood, OH, graduated from Magnificat High School and then Western Michigan University. She worked at Hines Veterans Administration Hospital until 1971, when she became Wonderful Marvelous Mommy, a role she embraced and thrived in for the rest of her life. Her family was her joy and, although she was a passionate mama bear, she always created a warm, loving, and welcoming home, first in Chicagoland, then in the Bay Area, and, since 1975, Murrysville, Pa.
She was a member of Mother of Sorrows Parish, a Jaycee wife, and an accomplished seamstress, and she enjoyed bowling, a good Moscato, laughing, and spending time with her family and friends. She was loved by so many. “I’ve had it all,” Adele said recently. But everyone who has felt her love and friendship knows that we were the fortunate ones.
She was diagnosed with neuroendocrine cancer in 2018 and fought it with strength and grace. But it took her from us, far too soon. Adele leaves behind a legacy of care and affection for others, many hilarious stories, and family who will always love her and will miss her terribly.
In lieu of flowers, Adele would encourage you to think of a friend or family member you haven’t seen in a while, give them a call, and go out to lunch together. “That's just wonderful,” she would say.
Visitation is from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Friday, September 16, 2022, at the Hart Funeral Home Inc., Murrysville. Parting prayers will be held in the funeral home on Saturday at 9:45 a.m. followed by a 10:15 a.m. Funeral Mass at Mother of Sorrows Church, Murrysville. A luncheon will be held immediately following Mass at Atria's Restaurant. Interment will be private with Adele’s family.
