Alan Phillip Peterson, 28, of Delmont, formerly of Murrysville, passed away on April 7, 2026, at his home. He was born May 1, 1997, in Pittsburgh, the son of Virginia Hamm and Eddie A. Peterson.
Alan (Pip) was a graduate of Franklin Regional High School. He was a member of the marching band. An accomplished pianist, Pip enjoyed impromptu performances. As a member of Newlonsburg Presbyterian Church, Alan learned the importance of community service. He advocated for the Autism Community, survivors of domestic abuse and Black Lives Matter.
After graduation Pip attended Duquesne University. As a freelance digital graphic artist Alan created numerous visual and audio works for colleagues in the gaming and comic book community.
Alan is survived by his mother, Virginia Hamm, his father, Eddie A. Peterson Jr. and his brother, Eddie C. Peterson.
Memorial Visitation for Alan will be held on Saturday April 25, 2026, at 1 p.m. at Hart Funeral Home Inc., Murrysville, followed a Memorial Service at 2 p.m. at the funeral home.
