Albert G. Latorre Sr., 92, of Murrysville, Pennsylvania, formerly of Loveland, Colorado passed away peacefully on March 19, 2026 in Jeannette, Pennsylvania.
Born on November 27, 1933, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, he was the son of the late Frank and Catherine (Bonidie) Latorre.
In addition to his parents, Albert was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Virginia Ann (Slifko) Latorre; a great-granddaughter, Cora Jayde Bell; and six siblings: Michael, Anthony, Carmen, John, Marie, and Frank Jr.
A man of faith, Albert was a former member of St. Joan of Arc Parish in Library, Pennsylvania, and St. John the Evangelist Parish in Loveland, Colorado. Before retiring, he dedicated many years to being a service station manager with Boron Oil Company, where he was known for his hard work, leadership and good humor. Later, he worked for 12 years at State of the Art Painters in Boulder, Colorado alongside his son, Albert Jr.
Albert is survived by his four cherished children: Virginia (Eugene) Piano, Albert Latorre Jr., Thomas Latorre, and Angela Latorre; six grandchildren: Michael Piano, Carla (Grant) Murray, Caylee (Michael) Montgomery, Sophia (Eric) Bell, Mark (Sarah) Murray, and Amanda Murray; nine great-grandchildren: Cayde, Scarlett, Lee, Camden, Bailey,
Tyler, Cylei, Ariyana, and Maliah; two sisters: Rose (Joe) Capasso and Katie Crivella; and many dear nieces, nephews, and cousins.
The family extends heartfelt gratitude to the compassionate staff of William Penn Care Center and Heartland Hospice for the exceptional care and support provided during his final years.
Visitation Wednesday, March 25, 2026 at Hart Funeral Home Inc., Murrysville from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday at St Barbara’s Church, Harrison City at 11 a.m. Everyone please meet at church. Interment will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday at Jefferson Memorial Park, Pleasant Hills.
