Alyce Carrol (Witter) Liber

Alyce Carrol Liber, 79, of McCandless Township, formerly of "West View" passed away peacefully on March 30, 2026, at Ridgecrest of McCandless.  She was born February 28, 1947, in Columbia Hospital in Wilkinsburg. She was raised in Monroeville, Pennsylvania, daughter of the late Frank A. and Bertha Mae (Householder) Witter.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband, Eric S. Liber, and a sister, Nancy Sloan.

Alyce was an excellent seamstress. Her sewing abilities included, making her own wedding dress, her husband's suit, and all of her drapes and she was an exceptional cook. Her academic achievements include an Associate's degree in Accounting, and a B.S. in interior design from LaRoche where she graduated Summa cum laude. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, Franklin Park. She loved flowers and had a beautiful flower garden and was an avid collector of Blue Willow as well as a loving cat owner. Alyce was a loving friend to many.  

Alyce is survived by her sisters, Patricia Duff and Sylvia Kelley; her brothers, Mel F. (Sheryl) Witter and James (Haixia) Witter; her nieces and nephews, Clark (Natalia) Kelley, Susan (Michael) Hamman, Brett (Kim) Kelley, Jennifer Kelley, Shelley (David) Walsh, Nancy Beth (Lance) Nichols, James (Carrie) Witter, Justin Witter, Ashley (Curtis) Aiken, Joshuah Witter, Jacob (Jessica) Witter, and Katelyn Witter.

Visitation will be held on Monday April 6, 2026, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Hart Funeral Home Inc., Murrysville.  A Funeral Service will be held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday April 7, 2026, at the funeral home followed by interment at Woodlawn Cemetery of Denmark Manor in Penn Township.
