Angelo Joseph Greco

Angelo Joseph Greco, 95, of Pittsburgh, PA. passed away on Friday, December 20, 2024. Angelo was born on July 25,1929 in Pittsburgh, PA, the son of Stanislao and Theresa Greco (Lucifero).

Angelo was ambitious from a young age and had many part time jobs before graduating high school from Pittsburgh Academy. He was an accomplished steamfitter and a member of the Pittsburgh Steamfitter’s Local Union 449.

Angelo, who was affectionately known as Babe/Uncle Babe enjoyed spending time with his family and was much loved. He enjoyed traveling and went on numerous trips, taking his family with him on many vacations. His kind heart and generous spirit will always be remembered. 

He is survived by his nieces and nephews; John (Debbie) Greco, Theresa (Tim) Ruggiero, Stanley (Barbara) Giaramita, James Greco, Barbara (Ed) Stiftar, Annie (John) Frascone, Stanley (Mirella) Geanuracos, and John (Lisa) Giaramita along with 14 great-nieces and nephews and 10 great-great-nieces and nephews. Angelo is preceded in death by his brother John (Eva) Greco, sisters Mary (James) Geanuracos, Theresa (John) Giaramita, nephews Louis Geanuracos, Joseph Greco, and his longtime friend Vivian Blackstock.

Visitation will be held on Friday, December 27th from 4:00 - 8:00 p.m at Hart Funeral Home Inc., 3103 Lillian Ave, Murrysville, PA 15668. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, December 28th at 10:30 a.m. at Mother of Sorrows Parish, Murrysville.
