Anne V. Shannon, 78, of Trafford, Pa, passed away Wednesday, September 6, 2023, at Forbes Hospital, Monroeville. She was born July 6, 1945, in Wilmerding, daughter of the late Robert and Ellen (Bentley) Grubbs. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by three brothers, Robert “Bobby”, Paul "Bones" and Larry "Butch" Grubbs.
Anne was a devoted wife and an amazing mom. She was also a member of Murrysville Alliance Church and spent her evening hours reading her bible. Her sense of humor was one of a kind and she always made those around her laugh. Anne was much loved by her family and friends and will be dearly missed.
Anne is survived by her husband, Leithan “Lee” Shannon; children, Roger (Camille) Shannon and Paula Shannon. She is also survived by two brothers, Harold (Karen) Grubbs, Harry (Shelli) Grubbs, and a sister, Charlene (Mark) Watkoski and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation is from 2 to 4 p.m. and from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Murrysville Alliance Church. A Funeral Service will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday at Murrysville Alliance Church, immediately followed by a luncheon at the church. Interment will follow at Twin Valley Memorial Park, Delmont.
