Anthony M. Brusca Jr., DMD

Anthony (“Tony”) M. Brusca Jr., 73, of Penn Township, Pennsylvania passed away on May 19, 2025. True to his firecracker nature, Tony was born on the Fourth of July, 1951 to Anthony and Josephine (Granata) Brusca in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

Tony was truly the most beloved husband, father, Nonno, brother, uncle, and friend to all. To know Tony was to love his contagious belly laugh, his hilarious stories, and his passion for life. He lit up every room he entered with an undeniable magnetism and made everyone in his presence feel so special and loved.

A graduate of the University of Pittsburgh and Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine, Tony served the community of Murrysville for 46 years and loved going to work to see his patients, staff and friends each and every day.

Along with his wife Maureen, Tony was a devout Catholic and member of Saint Barbara Roman Catholic Church in Harrison City.

Tony is survived by his adoring wife of 38 years, Maureen (Fey) Brusca; his beloved daughter, Rebecca Brusca Edmiston, and son-in-law, Miles Edmiston; his granddaughter, and the light of his life, Josephine Mae Edmiston; his sister, Frances (Brusca) Chesler, and brother-in-law, Adrian Chesler; his nieces, Emily (Chesler) Daignault and Addie (Chesler) Martz, their husbands, his great-nieces and great-nephew, and his loving dog, Stella.

Tony was preceded in death by his parents, and his family takes solace in the fact that they are reunited once more.

Though Tony’s passing leaves an unfillable void in the lives of his family and friends, they find comfort in his lasting legacy and the countless memories and eternal love they share.

Visitation will be held at Hart Funeral Home Inc. in Murrysville on Friday, May 23, 2025, from 2:00-4:00 pm and 6:00-8:00 pm. A Funeral Mass will be held at Saint Barbara Roman Catholic Church on Saturday, May 24, 2025, at 10:00 am. ***Everyone please meet at the church***
