Audrey Jean (Fitz) Mauro

Audrey Jean Mauro, 96, of Murrysville, passed away Sunday, March 30, 2025, at Brookdale Senior Living in Murrysville. She was born August 16, 1928, in Pittsburgh, daughter of the late Andrew and Sarah (Rankin) Fitz. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Albert Mauro; a great-granddaughter, Olivia Marie Pasquale; a son-in-law, James “J.L.” Heider; three sisters, Margaret (Charles) Peterson, Esther Louise Fitz, and Marie (William) Lonie.

Audrey is survived by three children, Barbara Heider, Albert “Larry” (Shirley) Mauro, Janet Eckels; five grandchildren, Anita Pasquale, Sarah (Jeremy) Johnston, Timothy Eckels, Sami Eckels, Audra Eckels; four great grandchildren, Noah, Haley, Jacqueline and Allison; and several nieces and nephews. Visitation is from 3 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, April 2, 2025, at Hart Funeral Home, Inc. A Funeral Service will be 10 a.m. Thursday, April 3, 2025, at the funeral home.
