Barbara "Bobbi" Sterrett

Barbara “Bobbi” Sterrett, 88, of Murrysville, passed away peacefully on April 27, 2026, in the comfort of her home with her daughter by her side.

She was born on January 10, 1938, in Lakewood, Ohio, to the late Ethel Williams Stohr and Albert Topham Stohr.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband, John David Sterrett, and her brother, Albert Stohr.  

She was a graduate of Penn State University and went on to teach.  She was known for volunteering at the library, and enjoyed playing tennis, golf, and bridge, as well as travelling the world with her husband and children. She especially loved spending time at her brother’s place in Siesta Key, Florida.

Bobbi is survived by her daughter, Susie Sterrett Albert (James Albert); her son, David Sterrett (Michelle Roberts); her grandchildren, Lindsey Sterrett and Johnny Sterrett; her sister-in-law, Lynn Stohr; and many nieces and nephews. 

A celebration of Bobbi's life will take place at a later date.  

Bobbi Sterrett will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
