Betty Louise Knudsen Carr, 91, of Murrysville, passed away Sunday, July 24, 2022, at Redstone Personal Care. She was born June 26, 1931, in Fort Morgan, CO, daughter of the late David and Ella Hunley Randels. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her first husband, Irving Knudsen; a grandson, Joshua Rizzo; and a brother-in-law, Joe Whitehead.
Betty was a member of Newlonsburg Presbyterian Church in Murrysville and prior to retirement, she was a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner.
Betty is survived by her husband, Dr. Guthrie Carr; three children, David (Lori) Knudsen, Ellen (Frankie) Russell, and Kristina Knudsen Rizzo; seven grandchildren, Kristin (Carl) Peters, Jennifer Knudsen, Rachel, Leah and Jon Russell, Krista (Alan) Hunter, and Jeremy Rizzo; six great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her sister, Ina Whitehead.
