Betty K. (Kort) McGee

Betty K. McGee, 86, of  Murrysville, passed away Tuesday, November 12, 2024, at Forbes Hospital, Monroeville. She was born December 13, 1937, in Romulus, MI, daughter of the late Walter and Pauline (Thomas) Kort. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Lowell F. McGee; four brothers-in-law, Norman Deac, Sanford Hodge, Allen Beer, and Hugh McGee. 

Betty was a retired RN who enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, sewing, knitting, crafting and spending time with her beloved dog Finn. Betty is survived by four children, Dr. Douglas (Patti) McGee, Amy McGee, Aaron (Jessica Davey) McGee, Dr. Lee F. (Gretchen) McGee; 12 grandchildren, Tyler, Megan, and Caitlin McGee, Marisa (Edward) Gratton Provident, Jillian, Tara and Aaron Gratton, Hannah, Ryan, Madalynn, Kelsey and Abigail McGee. She is also survived by five siblings, Walter (Priscilla) Kort, Geraldine Deac, Gloria (James) Agate, Rev. Dr. J. Thomas (Corrine) Kort, Paula Hodge; two sisters-in-law, Mildred Beer and Ruth McGee; numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation is from 2 to 4 p.m. and from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, November 17, 2024, at Hart Funeral Home, Inc.
