Carol Ann Davenport, 78, of Lower Burrell, formerly of Export, passed away Sunday, February 23, 2025, at Concordia at Cabot with her family by her side. She was born January 4, 1947, in Pittsburgh, daughter of the late Milton Hribal and Evelyn (Nicholas) Pollick. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her one and only beloved husband, Edward William “Bill” Davenport Jr.; her sister, Betty Pavelko, brother-in-law, Robert Davenport and sisters-in-law, Marjorie Moyer and Beverly Davenport.
One of her great accomplishments was to become a Registered Nurse. She had her nursing career at St. Margaret Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA. After working for 25 years at the Rainbow Connection Day Care, she retired. She enjoyed crocheting, embroidery, camping, boating and traveling to any beach at any time. She was a member of the Emmanuel Reformed United Church of Christ (Hill’s Church). Her greatest joy was spending time with her husband and her daughters. Her added joy came from her grandchildren and great-grandchild.
Carol is survived by two daughters, Cynthia (Leo) Ciaramitaro, Kelly (Robert) Walker; two grandchildren, William E. Ciaramitaro, Jordin (Rita) Walker; a great-grandson, Colt Walker; and brothers-in-law, Paul Moyer, Thomas Pavelko, and James Davenport. And several nieces and nephews.
Visitation is from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday, February 27, 2025, at Hart Funeral Home, Inc. A Funeral Service will be held 10 a.m. Friday, February 28, 2025, at the funeral home.
