Carol M. (Kietzman) Klinkenberg

Carol Klinkenberg, 93, of Murrysville, PA, passed away June 4, 2021 at Redstone Highlands in Murrysville. She was born December 22, 1927 in Waterloo, WI,  daughter of Frank and Clara Brokopp Kietzman. In addition to her parents and two sisters, Anita Reese and Myrtle Haglund, she is proceeded in death by her husband Hubert Klinkenberg, her son Matthew, and her daughter Karla. 
    Carol had many interests including birding, traveling the world with her husband and furniture refinishing, but her passion was sewing in all forms. There was nothing that she could not do with a sewing machine and she leaves behind a legacy of quilts to cherish.
    She is survived by her daughter Clare (Cliff) Perteete, beloved granddaughters Carolyn (James Johnson) and Emily Lane and adored great grandchildren, Lucy Lane and Reid Johnson. They were the gift of living a long life.
    Services are private. Internment will be at Murrysville Cemetery.
