Christa Ursula (Gockel) Sivack

Christa Ursula Sivack, 84, of Murrysville, passed away peacefully on September 2, 2025, at Golden Heights Personal Care Home in Irwin. Born on June 23, 1941, in Wiesbaden, Germany, she was the daughter of the late Hermann and Magdalena Gockel. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Robert Sivack, her son, Timothy Sivack, and her sister, Ingrid Nehoig.

Christa moved to the United States to marry Robert after meeting him while he was stationed with the US Army in Germany. She was known for her fun-loving spirit, compassion, and caring nature. She cherished time spent with her family, friends, and her faithful companion, Mia. Christa dedicated much of her career to retail management at Burlington in Monroeville.

She is survived by her sons, Michael (Susan) Sivack and Gregory Sivack; her grandchildren, Mark (Ashly) and Andrea (Orlando); her two great-grandchildren, Mikaylah and Carissa, and nieces, Kathy and Vickie.

Funeral services for Christa will be private and held with her family. Hart Funeral Home Inc., Murrysville, is entrusted with the arrangements.
