Craig F. Busse

Craig Frederick Busse, 79, of Murrysville, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving wife and family, on August 5, 2022.  He was born on November 6, 1942 in New Orleans, son of the late Norman and Margaret Busse.  He was preceded in death by his parents and a granddaughter, Angel Busse.  Craig had a passion for traveling, skiing, boating, blackjack, and loved his pug dog, Binky.  He grew a successful Commodity trading company in the meat business, Craig Trading Corporation, that he started only with a phonebook and telephone.  He was known for his charm, spirit of adventure and generosity.  He was also a gracious host at many memorable parties for family and friends.  He enjoyed watching sunsets and following the International Space Station from his deck with his wife, Devlynn J. Allen.  In addition to his wife, he is survived by two sons, Craig Michael (Lisa) and Bradley (Jennifer) Busse; and his four grandchildren, Logan, Nolan, Esmé and Bria.  Craig’s life and legacy will carry on in all of us.  He will be forever missed.  Visitation is from 2 to 6 p.m. Wednesday, August 10 ,2022 at Hart Funeral Home, Inc. with a Memorial Service at 6:00p.m. If desired, memorial contributions may be made to the Humane Society of Westmoreland County, 139 Humane Society Rd., Greensburg, PA 15601, or by visiting www.hswcgbg@aol.com or by calling 724-837-3779. www.hartfuneralhomeinc.com
