Dayna Leigh Daugherty

Our "Golden" Angel, Dayna Leigh Daugherty, 21, of Mamont, died Tuesday, March 2, 2021 at Montefiore Hospital in Pittsburgh.  She was born February 7, 2000 in Monroeville, beloved daughter of Ronald B. Daugherty Jr. and Debra Lersch.  She was a 2018 graduate of Kiski Area High School where she was an active member of the Kiski Area Band and Colorguard. She was currently a student at Pitt Johnstown, majoring in Nursing and was the biggest lover of cats ever. She was preceded in death by paternal grandparents, Ronald Daugherty Sr. and Patricia; maternal grandparents, Milton and Wilma Lersch. In addition to her parents, Dayna will be dearly missed by her brother Dylan and half brothers, Joshua and Adam; many aunts, uncles, cousins and her best friend Jenna Schindler along with many other friends. She will also be truly missed by her 6 Siamese cats. Visitation is from 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday at Hart Funeral Home, Inc., Murrysville. A Funeral Service will be held 10 a.m. Monday at the funeral home.  Interment will follow at Murrysville Cemetery.
