Deborah A. Bassett, 80, of Plum Borough, passed away peacefully on November 24, 2025, at Concordia of Monroeville. She was born on April 2, 1945, daughter of the late Frank and Dorothy (Musser) Harper. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Timothy C. Bassett Sr., and her sister, Marjorie A. Harper.
Deborah was a dedicated and caring nurse, working for the VA Hospital in Aspinwall. She loved to garden and loved her pets. She enjoyed vacations at Geneva on the Lake with her family every year for more than fifteen years.
Deborah is survived by her three children, Kimberly (Kenneth) Powers, Timothy (Cheryl) Bassett, and James (April) Bassett; her five grandchildren, Kenny, Amber, Ashley, Darian, and Shelby; her eight great-grandchildren, Ryan, Isabella, Kaili, Avery, Arianna, Carter, Ellianna, and Kendall; and her sister, Marjorie A. Harper.
A memorial visitation for Deborah will be held from 10 a.m. to noon on Saturday, December 6, 2025, at Hart Funeral Home, Inc., Murrysville.
