Di-Anne (Ballman) Zuber

Di-Anne Ballman Zuber, 87, of Murrysville, passed away on August 22, 2023.  She was born January 3, 1936, in Cincinnati, Ohio, daughter of the late Harry and Marguerite (Fowler) Ballman.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Gilbert B. Zuber, and her brother, Harry Charles Ballman.

She attended Ohio State University, and then transferred to the University of Pittsburgh, where she met her husband.  Together, they enjoyed traveling throughout the United States by car.  Di-Anne was a housewife, and a stay-at-home mother who enjoyed taking care of her family, reading, and a rousing game of double solitaire.

She is survived by three loving daughters, Lisa (David) Wingert, Gretchen Blake Zuber (Len Blatnica), and Rachel (David) Billick; her four grandsons, Daniel (Erica) Jones, Scott (Jessica) Wingert, Joshua Zuber (Isidro Frayre “Bobby”), and Jonathan (Ashley) Wingert; and her five great-grandchildren, Jack and Lucy Wingert, James and Harper Jones, and Baby Wingert.

Visitation will be from 9-11 a.m. on Saturday, August 26, 2023, at Hart Funeral Home Inc., followed by a funeral service at 11:00 a.m.  Interment will follow at Round Hill Cemetery, Elizabeth.  If desired, memorial contributions may be made to the Humane Society of Westmoreland County,139 Humane Society Road, Greensburg, PA  15601, www.westmorelandhumanesociety.com, in Di-Anne’s name.
