Dolores A. “Dee” Bettis, 91, of Murrysville, passed away Saturday, July 29, 2023, at Forbes Hospital, Monroeville. She was born March 9, 1932, in Pittsburgh, daughter of the late Samuel and Ann (Alvino) D’Ippolito. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband of over 65 years, Robert A. Bettis; two daughters, Lynn Thompson, Robin McDonald; two brothers, Robert and Alex D’Ippolito.
She enjoyed watching the Pittsburgh Steelers, Penguins and Nascar. Dee was an avid bowler and liked to go to the casino.
Dee is survived by a son, Samuel (Beverly) Bettis; a daughter, Phyllis (Robert Nemeth) Bettis; three grandchildren, Justin (Veronica) Padgett, Shane (Ashley) Bettis, Christie (Steve) Beres; five great grandchildren, Ella, Sydney, Dakota, Caden, and Leiam. She is also survived by two sons-in-law, Kenny Thompson and Wayne McDonald; a brother, Richard (Faye) D’Ippolito and a sister-in-law, Kim D’Ippolito and several nieces and nephews.
