Donovan “Don” Cole, 76, of Level Green, PA, died peacefully in the arms of his wife on April 8, 2023. He was born June 22, 1946, in Waynesburg, PA.
He graduated from Penn Joint High School in 1964 and, shortly after that, enlisted in the Army and served during the Vietnam War. Don is a graduate of Robert Morris University and worked as an IT specialist at US Steel for 38 years, where he met the love of his life, Juliann. He was a lifelong car and photography enthusiast and, for many years, could be found doing various home projects on most weekends. He was generous with his time and volunteered most of his extensive computer knowledge to the community. Don was an ever-present selfless husband and father and will be deeply missed by all who love him.
Don is preceded in death by his father, Lee, his mother, Merle, and his grandson, Benjamin. Those left to cherish his memory are his wife of 46 years, Juliann; their four children, Emily (David) Wiggins, Jeff (Ashley) Cole, Caroline (Greg) Franko, and Randy Cole; four grandchildren, Audrey, Mason, Charlotte, and Scarlett; sisters, Wilma, Ruthann, and Colleen; as well as several nieces and nephews.
