Dorothea Kay Murphy

Dorothea Kay Murphy, 76 of Murrysville passed away peacefully on Monday, August 1, 2022 after a hard fought battle with cancer.  She was born on October 5, 1945 in Natrona Heights, daughter of the late Frances Richard and Mary Stella Kalinowski Plocki.  Prior to retirement Dorothea was a realtor with Coldwell Banker for over 25 years.  She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, sitting on her back porch, and playing with her bird, named “Bill”.  She also loved going on Cruises with her loving husband, Jeffry T. Murphy.  In addition to her husband, she is survived by her three grandchildren, Brittany, Dylan, and Laurel; a sister Debbie Malobiski; and a daughter-in-law, Eldaree Meyer.  A private memorial service for Dorothea is being planned by her family.
