Eleanor L. (McGurk) Ridgeway

Eleanor L. Ridgeway, 89, of Murrysville, passed away peacefully July 9, 2026, at William Penn Care Center in Penn Township.  She was born April 2, 1937, in Wilkinsburg, a daughter of the late George W. and Virginia Alice (Schweinsberg) McGurk.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband, William P. Ridgeway; and her sisters, Virginia McDermitt, Betty Ann Armal, Janet Black, Nancy Ozog, and LuAnn Ladd.

She is survived by her two brothers, George W. McGurk and Charles D. McGurk; her sisters Helen LaSitis and Miriam Dietz; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation for Eleanor will be on Tuesday, July 14, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Hart Funeral Home Inc., Murrysville followed by a funeral service at 3:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
