Eric William Ferri

Eric William Ferri, 46, of Murrysville, passed away Friday, December 6, 2024, at his home. He was born June 9, 1978, son of William and Kathleen (McHugh) Ferri. He was a 1996 graduate of Kiski Prep and worked at Ferri Enterprises and Village Hardware - where he wore his biggest smile. Eric loved being outdoors and had a fondness for the weather, getting up in the middle of the night to plow. He loved trains, his mom’s home cooking, Corvette shows with his dad, and spending time with his nieces and nephew. He enjoyed family vacations and hanging out with his goddaughter, Madison. He will be missed by many.

Eric was predeceased by his grandparents, Mary & Joseph Ferri and Jeanne & Michael McHugh; uncles Edward, Eugene and Joseph Ferri and Michael McHugh. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his sisters, Susan Feudale, of Apollo, PA and Anne Harring, of Boynton Beach, FL; his nieces and nephew Madison Huzicko, Morgan Hepler, Macey Hepler, CJ Hepler, Peyton Harring, Gabriella Harring, Giuliana Harring. He is also survived by his aunts and uncles - Colleen & Carl Ruebel, Norma and Stephen Wardle, Bill & Amy McHugh, Tracey McHugh, Daniel & Lynne Ferri, and Peg Ferri.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Humane Society of Westmoreland County, 139 Humane Society Road, Greensburg, PA 15601, as Eric loved animals, especially his cat Gigi. Visitation is from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, December 10, 2024 at Hart Funeral Home, Inc. Additional visitation is from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at which time a memorial service will take place on Wednesday, December 11, 2024, at Hart Funeral Home, Murrysville.
