Esther D. Emmerick, 95, of Murrysville, passed away Tuesday, July 18, 2023, at New Haven Court, Zelienople. She was born June 17, 1928, in Lackawanna, N.Y., daughter of the late Oliver and Angela (Budzyn) Dailey. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 66 years, Norman V. Emmerick; a sister, Eleanor (Thomas) Hearty; a brother, James Dailey; and a sister-in-law, Theresa Dailey.
Esther was a member of Mother of Sorrows Parish. She was an extremely talented quilter, seamstress and had a great interest in researching her family genealogy. She was also an animal lover, and the breed of chow dogs held a very special place in her heart.
Esther is survived by a brother, William Dailey; a sister, Eileen Dailey; a sister-in-law, Yvonne Dailey; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, July 22, 2023, in Mother of Sorrows Church, Murrysville. Interment will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery, Verona.
