Georges M. Lehoucq

Georges M. Lehoucq, 85, of Murrysville, passed away peacefully January 23, 2026, at Forbes Hospital in Monroeville.  He was born on September 24, 1940, in Sallaumines, Nord-Pas-de-Calais, France, son of the late Maurice and Paulette (Pele) Lehoucq. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his four brothers.

Georges grew up in Cundinamarca, Colombia after emigrating from France after World War II at the age of eight; fourteen years later, he arrived in New York, married, and became a US citizen in 1970. He was dedicated to his wife and his sons. Georges enjoyed working on his home and in his garden, traveling, and talking with his family and friends. 

Georges is survived by his loving wife Dolly (Chica) Lehoucq; his two sons, Drs. Fabrice Lehoucq and Richard Lehoucq; and his four grandchildren, Mariana, Catherine, Michael, and Natalie.

A Funeral Mass for Georges will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday, January 29, 2026, at St. Mary, Our Lady of Lourdes Church, 5900 Kennedy Avenue, Export.
