Gloria "Grace" C. (Nau) Petted

Gloria “Grace” Charlotte Petted, 97, of Murrysville, PA, passed away Saturday, July 3, 2021 at UPMC East, Monroeville. She was born December 16, 1923 in Braddock, PA, daughter of the late Edward and Anne Wilson Nau. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Thomas H. Petted; her step mother, Mary E. Nau; a step brother, Rudy Monks; and a grandson, Dennis Wing. Grace was a graduate of McKeesport High School and Duff’s Business School. She worked for Horne’s of Monroeville and Pittsburgh as a Manager of the Bridal Department. She also worked for The Hub in Export. She enjoyed poetry, music, gardening and watching the wildlife and many birds in her yard. Grace loved her Murrysville home that she designed and built with Tom. She is survived by four children, Janice Troup, Raymond (Mary) Petted, Carl Petted and Joel (Kathy) Petted; four grandchildren, Heather Wing, Christopher (Danielle) Troup, Laura (Daniel) Danovich, Kevin Petted; seven great grandchildren, Emma, Aidan, Wyatt, Waylon, Landon, Rebecca and Declan. Grace’s family would like to extend their sincere gratitude to the Heritage Hospice staff, Emma, Nicole, Rose Ann, Tammy and Caroline, Dr. Mathew Levin and staff for his years of care and availability any time the family needed him, and the Four West staff at UPMC East Hospice for making her final day comfortable.
