Gregg W. Neavin Sr., 70, of Murrysville, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on July 31, 2025. He was born January 5, 1955, in Martins Ferry, Ohio, son of the late William Foster and Stella Lenora (Tuttle) Neavin. He is survived by his loving wife of 14 years, Deana Babik Neavin. He was loved by his children Erinn, Gregg and Eamonn Neavin along with Karah Pratt and Mariah Carraro. He was very proud of and loved by his three stepdaughters Mia, Abigail, and Brooke Heron. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 2 brothers, Doug and Brad Neavin, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Gregg had a long successful career as a driven salesman. He enjoyed music and singing, spending time with family, and being involved in church and community. He was a member and elder of the Newlonsburg Presbyterian Church and served on the Franklin Regional School Board. He was a great storyteller and would happily talk to those who would listen. He was so loved and supported by his family who helped carry him through his long six year cancer journey. He will be greatly loved and missed.
A Celebration of Life for Gregg will be held on Monday August 4, 2025, at 4 p.m. at Newlonsburg Presbyterian Church in Murrysville. If desired, memorial contributions may be made to UPMC Hillman Cancer Center, www.hillman.upmc.com, in Gregg’s name.
