Heinz W. Knispel

Heinz Knispel, age 89 of Export PA died 22 October 2021. 

He emigrated from Germany to the United States with his wife and daughter in 1962. They moved from Verona to Export in 1965.

Prior to his retirement he was a Civil Engineer for Kleinewefers Corp of Krefeld Germany and an Engineering Consultant.

Heinz enjoyed traveling and playing table tennis. He was an avid gardener growing vegetables and sharing the harvest with neighbors.

Later in life he read many books and magazines covering anything from world history to current events in addition to tending to his orchids.

He will be missed and long remembered by all that knew him. 

He was one tough cookie until the very end.

Heinz is survived by his wife Ursula, daughter Heike (Anna), sons Joachim (Kristen) and Andreas; 7 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren with another on the way.

There will be no service or memorial. 

A celebration of life is planned at a later date.
