Helen (Ruzbarsky) Klingensmith

Helen Klingensmith, (83), of Murrysville, passed away peacefully at her home on Sunday, May 28, 2023. She was born August 23, 1939, in Greensburg, PA, daughter of the late Anthony and Mary Palisko Ruzbarsky. Helen was a member of the Emmanuel Reformed United Church of Christ (Hill’s Church). She volunteered 17 years as an EMT and was a life member of Murrysville Medic 1. Prior to retirement in July 2005, she was a merchandiser for the Hallmark Corp. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Everett “Sonny” Klingensmith; a brother, Frank Ruzbarsky and an infant child. Helen is survived by three children, Rick (Patti Davidson) Klingensmith, Denise (Rick) Perfetta, Ken (Laura) Klingensmith; six grandchildren, Kaitlyn (Carlos Tello) Klingensmith, Lauren (Daniel Nestman) Klingensmith, Ricky (Lianna) Perfetta, Cory (Jordyn) Perfetta, Jared Klingensmith and Kendall Klingensmith; one great granddaughter, Ivy Rebecca Perfetta; a sister, Maryann (Albert) Lepovsky and a sister-in-law, Ellen Ruzbarsky; several nieces and nephews.

The family would like to express their appreciation for the compassionate caregivers of Amedisys Home Care Services and Caring Kersam Assisted Living for providing their caring support.

A Celebration of Life for Helen will be held Tuesday, June 6, 2023 at 10:30 am at Hart Funeral Home, Inc., Murrysville. Interment will follow at Twin Valley Memorial Park, Delmont. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, memorial donations be made to Hill’s Church, 3618 Hills Church Road, Export, PA 15632, or Murrysville Medic One, P.O. Box 27, Murrysville, PA 15668.
