Helen M. (Elk) Morris

Helen M. Morris, 72, of Murrysville, passed away peacefully Friday, February 13, 2026, at Forbes Hospital in Monroeville.  She was born on April 30, 1953, in Pittsburgh, daughter of the late Charles F. and Norma J. (Freund) Elk.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Charles E. Elk.

Helen loved her flowers, and spent her time gardening and landscaping, but her greatest love was spending time with her family.

She is survived by her loving husband, James E. “Jim” Morris; her two sons, William C. (Kelly) Pollitt, and Christopher M. (Vanessa) Pollitt; her five grandchildren, Casey, Chelsea, Greyson, Adrian, and Giulianna; a sister, Charlotte (Albert) Huff; as well as numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 17, 2026, from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. at Hart Funeral Home, Inc., Murrysville.  A blessing service will be held at 10:30 a.m. in the funeral home on Wednesday, February 18, 2026, followed by interment at Greenwood Memorial Park in Lower Burrell.
