James “Jim” Robert Blair, 72, of Murrysville, passed away peacefully Sunday, April 25, 2021 at his home.  Jim was born December 27, 1948 in Bellefonte, PA, son of the late Robert and Sarah Elizabeth Duffy Blair.  Jim served as a combat tracker with the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War.  A graduate of Franklin Regional High School, Jim attended Duquesne University to earn a BS degree in finance.  Prior to retirement, he was a Pennsylvania State Inspector for the Public Works Department. Jim's kindness and warm smile brought happiness to everyone he was around. He enjoyed spending time with friends and family, dining at Dick's Diner, and watching the Pittsburgh Steelers. Jim is survived by a brother, John “Scott” (Pamela) Blair of Chardon, OH; a sister, Connie Blair of Silver Spring, MD, and a niece Carolyn (Jason) Kozlowski and great nephew Jacob, also of Chardon, OH.  A committal service will be held Friday, May 14, 2021 at 2 p.m. in the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies, Bridgeville, PA with military honors accorded by the U.S. Army.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project. www.hartfuneralhomeinc.com
