James Patrick Gordon

James Patrick Gordon, 73, of Murrysville, Pennsylvania, passed away on October18, 2024. He was born on March 13, 1951, in Bethesda, Maryland, the son of the late Walter Stanley Gordon and Mary Cecelia (Miller) Gordon.

James proudly served in the U.S. Army, retiring in 1994 as an Artillery Commander. Following his military career, he continued his service in government at the VA hospital in Albuquerque, New Mexico, where he retired in 2021 before moving to Murrysville, PA.

He is survived by his loving fiancé, Susan Mastorovich; two children, Vadim (Dacota) Gordon and Valeria Gordon, both of Albuquerque, NM; and a sister, Patricia Parrish of Bellingham, WA. James was affectionately known as “Pops” to his two grandsons, James and Matthew, and as “Mr. Jones” to Susan’s family. James will be remembered for his warmth, dedication, kindness, and the love he shared with his family and friends. He was an amazing man, and we are truly grateful to have had him in our lives. James will be deeply missed.
