James P. "Beef" Montgomery

James. P. “Beef” Montgomery Sr., 58, of Plum Boro, passed away Wednesday, March 8, 2023, at UPMC Magee-Women’s Hospital, Pittsburgh. He was born February 12, 1965, in Pittsburgh, son of Maureen Smith and the late William A. Montgomery Sr. In addition to his father, he is preceded in death by his brother, William A. Montgomery Jr. 

Jim loved watching sports with his children and brother, Rob. He also cherished the times he was able to listen to his daughter sing. He was an entertainer to everybody he met and always told the people he cared about he loved them more.  He was an amazing son, father, grandpa, brother and friend. His wish is for everyone to remember the good times he had spent with them and carry on with his love and gratitude.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his son, Jim (Alana) Montgomery Jr., his daughter, Amanda Montgomery; a grandson, William James Montgomery; a brother, Robert Montgomery and a sister, Bonnie (Jeff) Thomas; a sister-in-law, Laurie Montgomery; several nieces and nephews.
