They returned to Penn State, so that Jim could complete his degree while Jane worked at O.W. Houts & Sons and lived in the trailers set up for returning GI’s and their brides. When Jim graduated, they moved to Murrysville, Pennsylvania. Jane stayed busy raising their children and participating in the family business, Murrysville Golf Course, along with Jim, the Funks and Geigers as well as being active in bridge club, church, community, and many hobbies.

She particularly enjoyed playing in the member-son events with son, Andy! After the children flew the nest, Jane and Jim become snowbirds, wintering, then, taking up full time residence in Juno Beach, Florida, where Jane stayed active treasuring her time at the beach with family and friends. She loved to travel and even went snorkeling in the Great Barrier Reef (Australia) with dear daughter-in-law, Carol A. Noble, when she was in her eighties!

Noble; survived by her daughter, Beth (Gerry), daughter-in-law, Carol, grandchildren Jessica (Adam), James (Shahrnaz), Timothy (Cynthia), Nicholas, Sarah and Rachel; and great grandchildren Imogen and Nash!
