Janet Marie Blauser Lloyd, 83, of Penn Township, died Monday, November 11, 2024, and is sitting at the feet of Jesus enjoying reunions in heaven with loved ones.  She was born October 31, 1941, to the late James Albert and Anna Grace (Dayton) Blauser in Oil City, PA.  In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Carlisle V. Lloyd; two sisters, Marian and Kathy; a brother, Jim; and two brothers-in-law, Richard Quillen and Ken Karns.

Having graduated from Rocky Grove High School in 1959, she worked as a secretary for the Valley Grove School District, then as an administrative assistant for Northwest Pennsylvania Bank & Trust Company, Ardara Church, and Level Green Presbyterian Church.  Janet and her beloved husband, Carlisle V. Lloyd retired from the Ardara United Presbyterian Church in 2008, where he served as pastor for 28 years.  She was an active member of Murrysville Alliance Church, and was a volunteer with the Deaconess Ministry, she loved working side by side with her Sisters in Christ, providing meals and support for grieving families.  She also participated in the Primetimers of Murrysville Alliance Church and Thursday Bible Study.  She loved God with all her heart and served in any way she could.

Janet was an advocate of staying healthy and exercised four times a week at Dean’s Gym and Snap Fitness, creating a supportive friend group there as well.  She enjoyed her neighborhood friends, walks in her development, and the lunches with the “Ladies of Walton Crossing”.  In her final month, she felt blessed to be in the care of her wonderful, caring hospice team from Bridges.  Janet was a big advocate for Veterans, volunteering for events honoring our Veterans at her church and through donations, she also loved animals, and was an advocate for strays, feeding many as if they were her own.
