Joanne (Young) Myers Mattock

Mary “Joanne” Myers Mattock, 90, of  Clover Ridge Village in Murrysville, passed away on Thursday, September 23, 2021. She was born January 24, 1931, in Turtle Creek, daughter of the late Clarence C. and Caroline M. Zang Young. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her first husband of 41 years, Donald A. Myers, in 1992 and her second husband, John A. Mattock Jr., in 2001. She was an active member of Mother of Sorrows Church in Murrysville and volunteered for many years in the gift shop at Forbes Regional Hospital in Monroeville.  Joanne is survived by four children, Kathleen M. Porter, Donald K. (Judith) Myers, Larry K. (Donna) Myers, Christine J. (Brian) Robas; four step-children, William J. Mattock, Regis A. (Lou Ann) Mattock, Ronald F. (Vicki) Mattock and Kathleen L. (Joseph) Cunliffe; 14 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren. Visitation is from 2 to 6:00 PM Sunday at Hart Funeral Home, Inc., Murrysville. Parting Prayers will be held 9:15 AM Monday at the funeral home followed by a 10 AM Funeral Mass at Mother of Sorrows Church.
