Obituary
Joseph August Purdue, 19, of Murrysville, passed away Thursday, March 23, 2023, at home, surrounded by his family. He was born Sept. 5, 2003, son of Joseph "J.B." and Lisa (Quaglieri) Purdue.
Joe was a 2022 graduate of Franklin Regional High School, where he played football. He enjoyed playing hockey and fishing with his friends.
In addition to his parents, Joe will be dearly missed by his brother, Nick Purdue; his sister, Kate Purdue; paternal grandmother, Barbara Bruce; maternal grandparents, Tony and Harriet Quaglieri; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends; and his two beloved dogs, Diesel and Dallas.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Diffuse Intrinsic Pontine Glioma Research by visiting www.stormtheheavens.org. Visitation is from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday and from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at HART FUNERAL HOME INC., Murrysville. A funeral Mass will be held 10 am Monday at Mother of Sorrows Parish.
