Joyce L. (Lawrence) Frost

Joyce L. Frost, 100 of Murrysville, passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, January 25, 2022.  She was born July 21, 1921 in Fredonia, NY, daughter of Luella and Clifford Lawrence.   In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Lawrence William Frost; and a brother, Gerald Lawrence.  Joyce was a long-time member of the Newlonsburg Presbyterian Church where she sang alto in the choir.  She was a founder of the" Franklin Bookmobile" and the Murrysville Swim Club.  She was also a long-time member of the East Suburban Artists League, the Photographic Society of America, the Delmont Community Band (clarinet), the Murrysville Womens Book Club and the Chautauqua Literary Society.  She was an active exhibitor of photographs in local art shows, having won numerous awards.  She also enjoyed swimming and tennis.  Joyce is survived by two sons, Stephen L Frost and Randall R Frost; two grandchildren, Nathan Frost and Melissa Boffoli; and three great grandchildren, Noah, Keagan and Kalyope.  A memorial service is 1:00 p.m. Saturday, April 9, 2022, at Newlonsburg Presbyterian Church in Murrysville, PA.  If desired, memorial contributions may be made to Action for Animals Humane Society at" afashelter.org" in her name.
