Joyce Maxine (Beltz) Wyble

Joyce Maxine Wyble, 86, of Murrysville, passed away Tuesday, July 16, 2024, at her home. She was born September 1, 1937, in Ellwood City, daughter of the late George and Edna (Lind) Beltz. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by a son, Brian D. Wyble.

Joyce was a graduate of the Presbyterian Hospital School of Nursing, earning her RN.  She also earned her BSN from the University of Pittsburgh as an honors graduate.  Her state board exam grades exceeded the requirements of all 50 states.  In her career she performed medical research at the University of Pittsburgh and was also a public health nurse for the state of Pennsylvania.

Joyce is survived by her husband, Dr. John F. Wyble; two sons, Jonathan Wyble, Scott Wyble; two grandsons, Theodore Clarence Wyble and Vincent Alden Wyble; three brothers, Ivan "Buzz" (Donna Davis) Beltz, George "Nick" (Dixie) Beltz, Robert "Bob" Beltz; and several nieces and nephews.
