June E. (Alexander) Neuman

June E Neuman, 90 of Greensburg, passed away surrounded by her four daughters on Wednesday, March 1, 2023.  June was preceded in death by her dear husband, Bruce H. Neuman in 2017.  She is survived by her daughters, Kathy [Mark] Ferlin, Laurie [Tom] Brodahl, Mary Ann [Don] Shoenthal, and Janice Neuman; her grandchildren, Matthew [Liz] Brodahl, Mark [Melissa] Brodahl, Katelyn [Brian] Law, Alex [Elise] Wood, Adam [Janna] Wood, Emily [John]] Tropeano and Anna Shoenthal: her great grandchildren Lily, Rhett, June, Eleanor, Zane, Rosie, Charlie, Marley, Rylie, Wyatt, Penelope, Grace, and Tucker. 

June was born in Onslow, Canada to Ernest and Catherine Alexander on April 9, 1932.  She married Bruce, her high school sweetheart on February 27, 1954.  June loved her role as a nurse, working in several hospitals around the U.S.  She loved caretaking and this transitioned into the family she built with Bruce.  She loved her role as wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother.  She made sure that the home she created for her family was full of love, understanding, support, fun, and a friendly ear.  June was always ready with tea or coffee, to chat or to just sit and listen.  As a woman of faith, she had a true servant’s heart, always putting others before herself.  The family will miss her gentle spirit and her sweet laugh but cherish countless memories of a wonderful life lived with June.

Friends will be received Friday, March 10, 2023 at Hart Funeral Home Inc., Murrysville from 4 to 8 p.m.  A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday March 11, 2023 in the funeral home.  A private interment will follow at Twin Valley Memorial Park, Delmont.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the www.crohnscolitisfoundation.org
