Katherine "Kay" Marie (Liscinsky) Potter

Katherine “Kay” Marie Potter, 86, of Murrysville, passed away peacefully on Sunday, September 26, 2021, at the William Penn Care Center in Penn Twp.  She was born December 29, 1934, in Wall, PA, daughter of the late Charles and Mary Kisella Liscinsky.  In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by two sons, Larry and Jeffrey; two sisters, Elizabeth and Mary; six brothers, John, Stephen, Vincent, Joseph, Victor and William.  

Kay was a stay-at-home mom who love to have baked goods ready for her kids after school.  At the age of 40, she took a full-time position at PPG, where she worked until she retired at the age of 65.  Kay was always an active person and loved to play tennis. She enjoyed watching the Pirates and Steelers every chance she could.  She didn’t have an easy life, losing two sons at an early age, but she persevered and spoke of them fondly many times over the years.

Kay will be missed by three daughters, Sandy (Wyman) Lee, Michelle (Joe) Nicoletti, and Laureen Potter; five grandchildren, Michelle, Christopher (Samantha), Joseph (Alexis), Andrew (Cara) and Cassie; five great-grandchildren.
