Kathleen A. Perkovich, 78, of Murrysville, passed away March 9, 2026, at UPMC East Hospital in Monroeville. She was born September 29, 1947, in McKeesport, daughter of the late William and Catherine (Homiak) Inglot. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Edward Inglot.
Kathleen attained a B.S. degree at Indiana University of Pennsylvania in 1969 where she was a member of the Alpha Omicron Pi Sorority. She worked for the Pennsylvania Bureau of Disability Determinations as a disability adjudicator for 35 years. Kathleen enjoyed playing pinochle with friends. She also enjoyed planning vacations and events, shopping for collectibles at flea markets, dabbling on her IPAD, making Christmas cookies, and baking. She was a member of Mother of Sorrows Catholic Parish in Murrysville.
She is survived by her husband of over 53 years, Michael A. Perkovich; a nephew, William Inglot of Los Angeles; and a sister-in-law, Donna Inglot of White Oak.
Visitation for Kathleen will be Thursday, March 12, 2026, from 4 to 7 p.m. at Hart Funeral Home, Inc., Murrysville. Parting prayers will be at 8:45 a.m. on Friday, March 13, 2026, at the funeral home, followed by a Funeral Mass at 9:30 a.m. at St. Mary, Our Lady of Lourdes Church, Export. Entombment will then follow at St. Joseph Cemetery, North Versailles.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to either Blood Cancer United, or the Mario Lemieux Foundation.
